ALEKSANDAR BLATNIK AND PALILULA

After the opening of Palilula Night 2014, Aleksandar Blatnik, popular caricaturist from Nis, but also designer, painter and architect, gave the painting with the title `PALILULA` to the president of the Municipality Boban Dzunic. The president in return gave Blatnik the Municipal Acknowledgment. Aleksandar Blatnik ,in his Atelier in Palilula ,very close to the very building of the Municipality, tirelessly creates and keeps surprising us with his creativity with his portaits of our most popular actors, ordinary common people, top athletes.

Blatnik is member of of ULUPUDS with the title `distinguished artist`. He was a winner of Life achievement award, as well as hundreds of other awards here in country and abroad for paintings and caricatures. He has had so far more than 400 participations in group exhibitons and had around 40 solo exhibitions.
